Been sued lately?

A frequent topic of conversation among my professional colleagues is the stress we feel about our jobs. Everyone’s story has different twists, but there are themes; tough bosses, unreasonable expectations, difficult co-workers, lack of clear leadership, etc., etc.  One thing I’ve yet to hear however, is “named in another law suit.”

Imagine being in a position that leads you to wonder each day whether your actions will result in a civil, if not criminal, legal action being filed against you.

Welcome to the world of the U.S. physician.
